Stalking on unfenced ground
The hunting ground is not fenced. Game comes and goes as it pleases — and the population grows because the farm tends it.
What are you here for?
Unfenced. On foot. On a tended population.
If you want to hunt on open ground, this is the opposite of an enclosure.
The farm's hunting ground is not fenced — game moves freely. The stalk is on foot, in the rough terrain of the Kaan river valley. The farm tends the population actively: waterholes, grazing areas, feeding and salt licks supplement what nature provides, with the aim of the richest possible variety of wildlife. Nyala, lechwe, caracal and leopard draw their tracks in the sand.

Out into the Khomas Highland, when the light is at its best.
From the terrace, looking out over the waterhole and the horses.
